							Ancilla and Rogatien Bazirinyakamwe (Continued.)
Q: Why have not many more people acted like you to save others?
Ancilla: I did it because of my good will. I did not consider what the others did to my family. That did not discourage me. I pray to God to help us to save each other so that we may live together as our ancestors used to. I pray that we get reunited like our ancestors who did not think about the ethnic groups. It was an obligation to save Rogatien and I saved him because he was a human being like me.
Q: You saw the killings that happened in Burundi. Why haven't there been many people who have been like Ancilla and save as many people as possible.
Rogatien: If many more people who behaved like Ancilla, many people would not have been killed. If there had been more people like her, the country would not have been the way it is. There have been many bad persons who did not value human beings. There are some people who understood the importance of human being and they decided not to kill them. But there are many others who considered members of the other ethnic group like animals.
